Ingredients
- Milk 0 qt
- Farm fresh eggs 8 pieces
- Butter 10 oz
- Sugar 30 oz
- Vanillin 1 teaspoon
- Raisins to taste
- Dry yeast 0 oz
- Salt ½ teaspoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
For the sponge, add yeast and 1/3 of the sugar to warm milk, along with flour (the consistency should be like pancake batter). Once the sponge rises, add beaten eggs, melted butter, vanillin, and salt. Knead a soft dough.
Step 2
Coat the raisins in flour and add them to the risen dough.
Step 3
Bake at 180–390°F.
