Ingredients
- Brown Sugar 2 cups
- Butter 10 oz
- Farm fresh eggs 3 pieces
- Ground Coffee 1 tablespoon
- Cocoa Powder ¾ cup
- Salt ¼ teaspoon
- Matzah 1 cup
- Chopped almonds ½ cup
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 355°F. Grease a rectangular baking dish, approximately 17x22 cm.
Step 2
In a bowl, mix the softened butter and sugar. Then add the eggs, coffee, cocoa, salt, and ground matzah. Mix well and add the walnuts. Stir again thoroughly.
Step 3
Pour the batter into the prepared dish and bake for 25 minutes (do not overbake; the outside should be firm, but the inside should remain soft). Cool in the dish. Cut into squares or segments and serve on a plate.
