Description

Ingredients
- Chopped almonds 5 oz
- Walnuts 5 oz
- Toasted Sesame 0 oz
- Flaxseeds 0 oz
- Dried Apricots 5 oz
- Pumpkin 5 oz
- Raisins 5 oz
- Dates 5 oz
- Oranges 2 pieces
- Ground Cinnamon 1 teaspoon
- Ground Nutmeg ½ teaspoon
- Cardamom ½ teaspoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Blend the almonds and walnuts until they reach a flour-like consistency.
Step 2
Grind the sesame and flax seeds, but only a coffee grinder will work for them.
Step 3
Add the spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, and cardamom) and mix the dry ingredients until homogeneous.
Step 4
Grate the pumpkin into the dough using a medium grater, and add the raisins.
Step 5
Zest the oranges into the dough and mix well.
Step 6
Place the dates and dried apricots in a blender, add the juice of 1 orange, and blend into a puree.
Step 7
Combine the dry mixture with the fruit puree, thoroughly mashing it together.
Step 8
Shape the dough into a loaf with wet hands or press it into a mold lined with plastic wrap.
Step 9
Leave in the refrigerator for 1 hour. Remove from the mold and decorate the top with poppy seeds or almond petals.
