Ingredients

  • Butter 5 oz
  • Brown Sugar ½ cup
  • Vanilla extract 1 teaspoon
  • Wheat Flour 1½ cups
  • Milk 2 tablespoons
  • Water 5 teaspoons
  • Powdered Sugar 1 cup
  • Red Food Coloring to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

In a bowl, beat the softened butter, sugar, and vanilla with a mixer. Add the flour and milk and knead the dough well.

Step 2

Place the dough on a floured surface and knead for a while. Divide into 2 parts and roll into circles about 10 cm in diameter. Chill for 40 minutes.

Step 3

Preheat the oven to 320°F. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.

Step 4

Roll out the dough between 2 sheets of parchment paper to a thickness of 5 mm. Cut out animal shapes (rabbits) from the dough and place them on the baking sheet. Repeat the same with the remaining dough.

Step 5

Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Let cool.

Step 6

Meanwhile, mix the powdered sugar and 4 tablespoons of water for the icing. Add more water if necessary. Stir in a few drops of food coloring, transfer to a piping bag, and decorate the biscuits with the icing.
