Dried Fruit Balls for Tu BiShvat
Ingredients
- Raisins 5 oz
- Dried Apricots 5 oz
- Dates 5 oz
- Green Figs 5 oz
- Shelled pumpkin seeds 5 oz
- 70% Dark Chocolate 5 oz
- Brandy 4 tablespoons
- Desiccated coconut to taste
- Powdered Sugar to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Rinse the dried fruits and dry them.
Step 2
Grind all ingredients in a meat grinder or blender.
Step 3
Add brandy and mix thoroughly.
Step 4
Melt the chocolate in a double boiler or microwave, pour it into the ground mixture of dried fruits and nuts, and mix.
Step 5
Moisten your hands slightly with water and form balls with a diameter of 3–4 cm. Roll in shredded coconut or granulated sugar. Place each ball on a paper cupcake liner. Serve on a flat plate.
