- Buckwheat Groats 1 cup
- Apple 2 pieces
- Rye Bread 1 tablespoon
- Stevia Extract ½ teaspoon
- Clear Apple Juice 5 fl oz
- Toasted Sesame to taste
- Poppy seed paste to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Grind 1 cup of buckwheat groats using any convenient method. It doesn't have to be flour. No need to sift.
Step 2
Peel the apples and grate them on a coarse grater.
Step 3
Add the ground buckwheat, bran, stevia, and juice.
Step 4
Mix everything thoroughly and let it sit for 20 minutes. The dough should hold together well and not crumble; if it's dry, add more juice.
Step 5
Divide the mixture into balls, then flatten them into patties. Sprinkle with anything you like, such as sesame seeds, poppy seeds, or leave them uncoated.
Step 6
Bake at 300°F for 40-50 minutes.
