Diet Oatmeal Cookies
Baking and Desserts • American
Description
It is not necessary to use all types of flakes; quick-cooking oats are sufficient. If made only with rolled oats, the cookies will taste bitter. Quail eggs can be replaced with chicken eggs at a ratio of 4:1.
Ingredients
- Ground Oats ½ cup
- Quick-cooking barley 1 cup
- Oat flakes ½ cup
- Butter 5 oz
- Vanilla salt 0 oz
- Quail Egg 8 pieces
- Brown Sugar 6 tablespoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Let the butter sit at room temperature until softened.
Step 2
Mix the brown sugar and vanilla sugar with the softened butter using a whisk (there's no need to dissolve the sugar), then add the eggs and beat a little more.
Step 3
In a separate bowl, lightly crush the quick-cooking oats by hand, then add the rolled oats and oat flour.
Step 4
Combine the resulting mixture with the butter and egg mixture, mixing thoroughly. The dough will be quite thick.
Step 5
Shape the cookies by hand and place them on a baking sheet, leaving space for the cookies to spread.
Step 6
Send the cookies to a preheated oven at 345°F (350 degrees Fahrenheit) for 15–20 minutes.
Step 7
Let cool and enjoy.
