Description

Asian soups in general, and Japanese ones in particular, are like a building block set, where there is a base: broth, and everything else is added directly to the bowl.

Ingredients

  • Chicken Drumstick 2 pieces
  • Udon Noodles 5 oz
  • Dashi powder 2 spoons
  • Scallions 0 oz
  • Mild Chili Spice ½ pieces
  • Dried Nori Seaweed 0 oz
  • Lemon ¼ pieces

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Boil the chicken drumstick in one liter of water without adding any spices, salt, or anything else. Twenty-five minutes in gently boiling water should be sufficient. Just remember to skim off the foam and excess fat. In another pot, cook the ramen noodles in water without spices until they are ready.

Step 2

Pour the chicken broth into bowls, mix in a teaspoon of dashi powder, add a piece of chicken and noodles to each bowl, finely chop green onions and peppers, cut the dried seaweed into thin strips and evenly distribute them among the bowls, then drizzle with lemon juice.
