
Dark Chocolate Truffle

Description
Cognac can be replaced with various liqueurs or rum. You can use shredded coconut for coating. Cognac can be substituted with liqueur.
Ingredients
- 70% Dark Chocolate 5 oz
- Butter 0 oz
- Heavy cream 5 fl oz
- Coarse Salt a pinch
- Cocoa Powder 2 tablespoons
- Cognac 3 tablespoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Prepare all the ingredients.
Step 2
In a saucepan (with thick walls), place the butter and break the chocolate into pieces.
Step 3
Put it on the heat and pour in the cream.
Step 4
Then reduce the heat to the minimum; ideally, you can use a double boiler.
Step 5
Add a couple of pinches of salt.
Step 6
Stir. Add the cognac or liqueur.
Step 7
Mix well and remove from heat. Place the cooled mixture in the refrigerator for about 9-10 hours. Use two teaspoons or your hands to form balls.
Step 8
Dip the finished balls in cocoa powder.
