Ingredients
- Wheat Flour 10 oz
- Butter 5 oz
- Lemon 1 piece
- Powdered Sugar 5 oz
- Milk 5 fl oz
- Chicken Egg 1 piece
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Sift the flour and combine it with the butter. Mix well. Add the sugar, baking powder, and lemon zest. Mix again.
Step 2
Beat the egg with the milk. Incorporate it into the flour mixture and knead the dough.
Step 3
Place the dough on a floured surface and roll it into thin long sausages. Cut the dough into balls the size of walnuts and transfer them to a baking sheet.
Step 4
Preheat the oven to 430°F. Bake for 10 minutes.
Step 5
Remove the baking sheet from the oven, cut the cookies in half. Return the baking sheet to the oven, turn it off, and leave the cookies for another 25 minutes.
