Ingredients

  • Red Currant 10 oz
  • Donut Peaches 20 oz
  • Sugar 1 cup
  • Potato protein 1 tablespoon
  • Water 5 cups

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Sort the currants, rinse them, mash in a pot, pour in 5 cups of boiling water, stir, and cover. After 10-15 minutes, strain through cheesecloth.

Step 2

Then place the pot with the juice on the stove, add sugar, and add the peaches, peeled and pitted, cut into wedges. When it boils, sprinkle in the potato starch (as done for making jelly).

Step 3

The soup is served chilled. You can add sour cream to the soup.
