Cumin Crackers
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour 10 oz
- Toasted Cumin Seeds 1 teaspoon
- Butter 5 oz
- Ghee 10 oz
- Salt 1 teaspoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a bowl, add all the flour, cumin, and salt. Mix well.
Step 2
Melt the butter in a double boiler and add it to the flour. Mix thoroughly by hand.
Step 3
Gradually add about 100 ml of warm water. Knead the dough. Roll the dough into a thin rectangular flatbread about half a centimeter thick. Cut the flatbread into diamonds.
Step 4
Heat a few tablespoons of ghee in a pan so that the diamonds can be submerged in it. Immerse the diamonds in the ghee. Once the crackers are golden brown on one side, flip them over.
Step 5
Place the finished crackers on paper towels to absorb excess oil. The crackers can be sprinkled with salt.
