Ingredients
- Green Apples 9 pieces
- Butter 5 oz
- Sugar 5 oz

Step 1
Remove the core from the apples, peel them, and cut them in half.
Step 2
In a deep skillet, melt the butter, add the sugar, and over high heat, bring the butter and sugar mixture to a caramel color.
Step 3
Remove the skillet from the heat and arrange the apple halves in a circle, one by one, filling the remaining space in the skillet. Make sure the apples are packed as tightly as possible against each other.
Step 4
Return to the heat and sauté on high for about twenty to twenty-five minutes. During this time, the apples should caramelize.
