Description

You can use not only oatmeal but also a mixture of four-grain flakes, for example.

Ingredients

  • Quince 1 piece
  • Wheat Flour 0 oz
  • Butter 5 oz
  • Oat flakes 5 oz
  • Honey 2 tablespoons
  • Sugar 1½ tablespoons
  • Vanillin to taste
  • Ground Cinnamon to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

The mixture of flakes should be crushed, but not into flour, so that the flakes are still noticeable.

Step 2

Pour the crushed flakes, flour, sugar, and vanillin into a bowl.

Step 3

Add the chopped cold butter. Rub the mixture with your hands until it resembles crumbs.

Step 4

Wash the quince, peel it, and cut it into wedges.

Step 5

Preheat the oven to 355°F.

Step 6

Place the quince wedges at the bottom of a baking dish and drizzle with liquid honey.

Step 7

Spread the crumb mixture on top and bake in the oven for 15–20 minutes.
