Croissants with Nut Butter
Ingredients
- Milk 2 tablespoons
- Puff Pastry 20 oz
- Nutella® 10 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Roll out the pastry into a rectangular sheet — it doesn't need to be rolled out very thinly. Cut into triangles. Make a small cut on the wide side of each triangle (this is to make it easier to roll up the beautiful croissants).
Step 2
Closer to the wide side, place a teaspoon of chocolate spread. Tightly roll up the croissants (from the base of the triangle to its tip). Transfer to a baking sheet, cover with a napkin, and refrigerate for about 15 minutes (this will slow down the dough rising process).
Step 3
Brush the croissants with milk and place in a preheated oven at 355°F for about 20 minutes (in other words, bake until golden brown).
