Ingredients
- Pattypans 20 oz
- Water 15 fl oz
- Salt 0 oz
- Bay leaf 1 piece
- Dill 1 piece
- Horseradish Leaves 1 piece
- Garlic 2 cloves
- 9% Vinegar 0 fl oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Prepare all the ingredients.
Step 2
Wash the small pattypans well that can fit whole into the jar.
Step 3
Transfer the pattypans to a sterilized jar, adding horseradish and dill.
Step 4
Add salt, garlic, and bay leaf to the water and bring to a boil.
Step 5
Add vinegar to the brine and pour it into the jar up to the neck, then close the jar with a lid.
Step 6
Turn the jar upside down and wrap it in a blanket to let it cool slowly.
Step 7
Store the pickled pattypans in a dark, cool place, and do not taste them until at least a month later.
