Ingredients

  • Wheat Flour 20 oz
  • Butter 5 oz
  • Sugar 5 oz
  • Milk 1 cup
  • Dry yeast 1 teaspoon
  • Dry yeast 1 teaspoon
  • Powdered Sugar 2 tablespoons
  • Nuts 5 oz
  • Vegetable Oil to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

In a deep bowl, combine the butter, sugar, fresh and dry yeast dissolved in water with milk.

Step 2

Knead the dough and let it rest for 20 minutes under a lid.

Step 3

Place the dough on a floured surface and roll it out with a rolling pin.

Step 4

Cut the dough into rectangles measuring 10 by 15 cm, place chopped nuts in the center of each rectangle, and pinch the opposite ends together. Let rest for 20 minutes.

Step 5

In a pan, heat the vegetable oil and fry the pastries until golden brown.

Step 6

Place the pastries on a paper towel.
