  • Chicken Egg 1 piece
  • Cognac 0 fl oz
  • Sour Cream 0 fl oz
  • Salt a pinch
  • Wheat Flour 15 oz
  • Vegetable Oil to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

In a deep bowl, crack the eggs and lightly beat them. Then pour in the cognac, add the sour cream, and sprinkle in the sugar. Mix until the sugar dissolves.

Step 2

Gradually add the flour to the liquid mixture while constantly stirring. Knead the dough until it becomes elastic and homogeneous. Then roll out the dough on a floured surface using a rolling pin.

Step 3

Cut the dough into strips approximately 20x2 cm. Make a slit in the middle of each strip and twist one end through the slit.

Step 4

In a wide and deep skillet or deep fryer, heat enough vegetable oil. Carefully place the strips of dough into the hot oil, ensuring they do not stick together. Once all the pastries are cooked, place them in a colander to drain excess oil. When the pastries have dried and cooled, sprinkle them with powdered sugar.
