
Crispy Flaxseed Crackers

Description
Don't eat bread? But often feel like your salad could use something grainy? Then this recipe is for you! Very simple and accessible! And how wonderfully crunchy they are!!!
Ingredients
- Flaxseeds 5 oz
- Rye Bread 0 oz
- Parsley 0 oz
- Oregano 1 teaspoon
- Basil 1 teaspoon
- Thyme 1 teaspoon
- Salt 1 teaspoon
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Soak the flaxseeds in warm boiled water, ensuring the water level exceeds the seeds by 1.5-2 cm. Let it steep until the seeds absorb all the water and form a jelly-like mixture.
Step 2
Add the rye bran, all the spices, and finely chopped herbs to the seeds. In my version, I used parsley. Mix everything thoroughly.
Step 3
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, brush it with olive oil, and spread the flax mixture on it. Carefully distribute the mixture over the surface of the paper using wet hands, aiming for a thickness of about 3-5 mm ;) No ruler needed — you'll see for yourself :)
Step 4
Bake at 180°C for 35 minutes. Or at 60°C for 2 hours :) In both cases, bake until golden brown.
