Crispy Cheese Crackers

Ingredients

  • Wheat Flour 5 oz
  • Butter 5 oz
  • Hard Cheese 5 oz
  • Cream 1 tablespoon
  • Salt ½ teaspoon
  • Baking Powder ½ teaspoon
  • Sugar a pinch
  • Cayenne Pepper to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Toasted Sesame to taste
  • Poppy seed paste to taste
  • Dried Dill Stems to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Mix the flour with baking powder, salt, and sugar. Grate the cheese on a fine grater. Soften the butter in the microwave (10 seconds) or at room temperature.

Step 2

Combine all ingredients in a blender. Roll the dough into a ball and refrigerate for a couple of hours.

Step 3

Lightly dust the work surface with flour, roll out the dough to a thickness of no more than 5 mm. If the dough is too soft, you can add a little flour. Cut out crackers using cookie cutters.

Step 4

Decorate the crackers with herbs and sprinkle with spices as you like.

Step 5

Bake at 390°F for 10–12 minutes, until the edges are golden.
