Creamy Peanut Butter Cookies with Caramels
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour 1.3 cups
- Salt ½ teaspoon
- Butter 8 tablespoons
- Activated Baking Soda ½ teaspoon
- Sugar 1 cup
- Egg white 1 piece
- Vanilla extract 1 teaspoon
- Small Caramels 10 oz
- Peanut Butter 10 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, and salt.
Step 2
In another bowl, beat the softened butter and peanut butter until smooth. Gradually add the sugar, then the egg and vanilla. Add the flour mixture and small caramels. Roll the dough into a large disc, wrap it in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 2 hours or overnight.
Step 3
Preheat the oven to 375°F (375 degrees Fahrenheit). Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper. Roll the dough into small balls and place them on the baking sheet, 5 cm apart. Use a fork to press each ball crosswise to create a grid pattern on top and bake until light brown for 15 minutes. Cool on the baking sheet for 10 minutes and transfer to a plate.
