Ingredients
- Morels 10 oz
- Onion 2 heads
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Chicken Broth ½ cup
- Cream 22% 10 fl oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Finely chop the onion and garlic. Add them to a skillet and sauté until golden brown.
Step 2
Add the frozen mushrooms to the onion, if using, and sauté for about 15 minutes.
Step 3
Add the broth to the mixture and simmer for another 10 minutes.
Step 4
Season with salt and pepper.
Step 5
Pour the entire mixture into a blender-friendly container. Add the cream and blend until smooth.
Step 6
Slice the bacon into thin strips and place them in a dry skillet or in the oven. Remove when they are crispy.
Step 7
Pour the creamy soup into bowls, add croutons, and top with bacon chips before serving.
