Ingredients

  • Egg white 2 pieces
  • Whole egg 1 piece
  • Milk 5 fl oz
  • Corn Starch 0 oz
  • Sugar 0.6 cup
  • Plums 20 oz
  • Cream (40%) 5 fl oz
  • Butter 2 tablespoons
  • Wheat Flour 4 tablespoons

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 410°F.

Step 2

Wash the plums well, carefully cut each in half, and remove the pits.

Step 3

In a skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter, add the plums, and sprinkle with 2 tablespoons of sugar. Sauté for 5 minutes until the plums caramelize. Transfer to a plate.

Step 4

Grease several small baking molds or one large one with butter. Lightly sprinkle with sugar.

Step 5

In a bowl, mix the cold milk with cornstarch and flour.

Step 6

In another bowl, beat the eggs and yolk, then add the remaining sugar and mix well. Then add the cream and mix again.

Step 7

Combine the milk with the egg mixture.

Step 8

Place the plums in the molds, skin side down. Pour the batter over the top and bake in the oven for about 30 minutes until done.

Step 9

Remove from the oven and sprinkle with sugar on top. Serve warm.
