Creamy Chicken Soup with Green Peas
Ingredients
- Chicken bones 7 pieces
- Green Peas 1 can
- 10% cream 10 fl oz
- Bay leaf 1 piece
- Dill to taste
- Parsley to taste
- Scallions to taste
- Salad Potatoes 2 pieces
- Onion 1 head
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Salt to taste
- Khmeli-suneli to taste
- Carrot 1 piece
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Boil the chicken legs for 8 minutes after the water starts boiling. Add the potatoes and cook everything together until the meat separates from the bones (remove the bones).
Step 2
Mash the green peas or blend them (you can add spinach, wild mushrooms, or champignons).
Step 3
Add the bay leaf to the broth, finely grate the carrot and sauté it together with the onion, add ground pepper.
Step 4
Pour the sauté mixture into the boiling broth, add khmeli-suneli, green onion, herbs, cream, and mix thoroughly.
Step 5
Cook for about 5-8 minutes.
Step 6
Cover with a lid and let it steep; it can also be consumed cold.
