Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

In a saucepan, stir together the sugar, corn syrup, and water over medium heat.

Step 2

When the mixture comes to a boil, stop stirring and let the caramel cook until it turns golden.

Meanwhile, heat the cream without bringing it to a boil.
