Creamy Broccoli and Potato Soup

Ingredients

  • Salad Potatoes 3 pieces
  • Broccoli 5 oz
  • Milk ½ cup
  • Butter 0 oz
  • Paprika 1 teaspoon
  • Grated Ginger Root ⅓ teaspoon
  • Black Cumin (Cumin) ⅓ teaspoon
  • Bay leaf 2 pieces
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Herbes de Provence ½ teaspoon

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Peel the potatoes, cut them into small pieces, and boil them in salted water for about 7 minutes with the bay leaves. Then add the broccoli and cook until tender.

Step 2

Now drain about half of the broth. The amount of broth will depend on how thick you want the soup, but keep in mind that we will also add milk and butter. Remove the bay leaves and a few broccoli florets for garnish. Add the spices and blend well until smooth.

Step 3

Pour in the milk and butter and blend a little more.

Step 4

Then simmer it on low heat for about three minutes. And the soup is ready! Serve in bowls, garnished with drops of olive oil.
