Creamless Ice Cream
Ingredients
- Milk 20 fl oz
- Sugar 5 oz
- Whole egg 4 pieces
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Bring the milk to a boil. Let it cool to room temperature.
Step 2
Whisk the yolks with sugar until fluffy and white.
Step 3
Pour the milk into the yolks.
Step 4
Place on low heat and cook until it comes to a boil, stirring constantly.
Step 5
Strain. Cool and pour into molds (I used plastic containers).
Step 6
Place in the freezer for 4–5 hours, stirring every hour (to prevent ice crystals from forming).
