  • Chicken Egg 4 pieces
  • Wheat Flour 1 cup
  • Sugar 2 cups
  • Vanillin 0 oz
  • Salt a pinch
  • Butter 1 tablespoon
  • Sour Cream 5 oz
  • Rum 1 tablespoon
  • Ricotta cheese 10 oz
  • Water 6 tablespoons

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Dough: separate the egg whites from the yolks. Whip the egg whites with salt, and the yolks with 1 cup of sugar and vanillin. Add the egg whites and flour to the yolks.

Step 2

Grease the baking pan with butter, line it with parchment paper, and pour in the dough. Bake at 355°F for 25-30 minutes.

Step 3

For the cream, whip the sour cream (the fattier, the better) with 1 cup of sugar, add the ricotta, and whip until smooth.

Step 4

Soaking syrup: mix the water with the rum and add 2 tablespoons of sugar. Heat the mixture until the sugar completely dissolves. Once the syrup boils, remove it from heat and let it cool.

Step 5

Assemble the cake: cut the baked sponge into layers, soak each layer with the syrup. Layer the cake with sponge—cream, and also spread cream on the sides of the cake. The cake can be decorated with grated chocolate, fruits, whipped cream, etc. The cake can be served after 1-2 hours.
