Cranberry kissel with fried fig

Ingredients

  • Fig 12 pieces
  • Cranberry 10 oz
  • Sugar 5 oz
  • Raw cane sugar 2 spoons
  • Corn Starch 2 spoons
  • Butter 0 oz
  • Balsamic Vinegar 1 tablespoon

In a blender, puree the berries, then strain the mixture through a fine sieve. Set the juice aside, mix the pulp with sugar, add one liter of water, bring to a boil, and simmer for about five minutes.

Step 2

Add the cornstarch diluted in a small amount of water, bring the mixture back to a boil, strain it, and mix it with fresh berry juice.

Step 3

In a skillet, melt the butter, then add the brown sugar and balsamic vinegar. Sauté the halved or quartered figs for about a minute.

Step 4

Pour the jelly into deep plates, add the sautéed figs, and serve.
