
Cranberry Jam with Orange

Suitable as both a treat and a sauce for meat and duck.
Ingredients
- Cranberries 35 oz
- Oranges 3 pieces
- Cane Sugar 20 oz
- Cinnamon sticks 3 pieces
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Zest the oranges and squeeze out the juice. I got about 400 ml.
Step 2
Place the cranberries in a saucepan and blanch for 2-3 minutes.
Step 3
Pour the cranberries along with the cinnamon and zest into the orange juice. Add the granulated sugar, gently mix, and cook for about 10 minutes on high heat (but make sure the berries don't start to burst!). Then reduce the heat and cook the jam until thickened for about 30 minutes. Remove the cinnamon sticks, pour into sterilized jars, and store in the refrigerator.
