Crab and Sweet Corn Soup Chinese Style
Ingredients
- Corn Cobs 1 piece
- Scallions 4 pieces
- Vegetable Oil 2 tablespoons
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Chicken Broth 10 fl oz
- Crab Meat 0 oz
- Sesame Oil 1 teaspoon
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Heat a skillet and sauté the corn cob for 3–4 minutes until the kernels are slightly toasted. Then cut the kernels off the cob.
Step 2
Heat the vegetable oil and lightly sauté the chopped green onions and garlic for 2 minutes.
Step 3
Pour in the broth and bring to a boil. Add the corn and boil for 4–5 minutes until the corn is tender.
Step 4
Add the crab meat, wait for it to heat through, and season to taste. Serve in soup bowls and drizzle with sesame oil. Enjoy.
