Cottage Cheese Shell Cookies "Goose Feet"
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour 10 oz
- Butter 5 oz
- Cottage cheese 5 oz
- Baking Powder 1 tablespoon
- Sugar to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Mix the baking powder with the flour — start with 200 grams of flour, and add more as needed for better dough consistency.
Step 2
Chop the cold butter into the flour and knead the dough. Add the cottage cheese to the dough. If the dough is difficult to knead, you can add one or two tablespoons of cold water.
Step 3
Roll into a ball (or several), and refrigerate for half an hour.
Step 4
Roll out the dough and cut out circles.
Step 5
Coat one side of the circle in sugar, then fold it in half with the sugar side inside. Roll the resulting bundle in sugar on one side again, then fold it once more with the sugar side inside. Coat the top side of the shell in sugar and place it on a baking sheet.
Step 6
Bake at 355°F until cooked through (about 10–20 minutes), the cookies should be golden brown.
