Cottage Cheese Roll
Ingredients
- Sugar 3 tablespoons
- Farm fresh eggs 3 pieces
- Wheat Flour ⅓ cup
- Starch film 1 teaspoon
- Baking Powder 1 teaspoon
- Cottage cheese 5 oz
- 10% cream 5 fl oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Separate the egg whites from the yolks. Whip the egg whites with a pinch of salt and half of the sugar (add the sugar at the end of whipping) until stiff peaks form.
Step 2
In a separate bowl, whip the yolks with the remaining sugar.
Step 3
Gradually add the flour mixed with starch and baking powder. Whip well.
Step 4
Add the egg whites one spoonful at a time, initially mixing at low speed, then fold in with a spoon.
Step 5
Pour onto greased parchment paper, smooth it out, and bake at 170°C (340°F) for 15-20 minutes.
Step 6
While hot, roll it up with the parchment paper.
Step 7
While it cools, whip the cream with sugar for 4 minutes.
Step 8
Add the cottage cheese and whip until smooth.
Step 9
Unroll the cake, spread with the cream, and roll it up again.
Step 10
You can drizzle with melted chocolate or glaze. Refrigerate.
