Cottage Cheese Pie with Crumble
Ingredients
- Sugar 2 cups
- Cottage cheese 20 oz
- Activated Baking Soda 1 teaspoon
- Sour Cream 1 jar
- Farm fresh eggs 3 pieces
- Wheat Flour 3 cups
- Margarine 10 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Mix the ingredients for the dough (flour, 1 cup of sugar, a pack of margarine, baking soda) by hand.
Step 2
For the filling, add sour cream and egg yolks to the cottage cheese. Whip the egg whites with sugar using a mixer and add to the cottage cheese mixture. Mix everything thoroughly.
Step 3
On a warm baking sheet, sprinkle 2/3 of the crumble (dough). Spread the cottage cheese filling on top, then sprinkle with the remaining crumble.
Step 4
Bake in a preheated oven at 180–390°F for 25 minutes.
