Cottage cheese Easter cakes with glaze

Ingredients

  • Butter 5 oz
  • Chicken Egg 3 pieces
  • Wheat Flour 1 glass
  • Cottage cheese 10 oz
  • Sugar 1½ glasses
  • Baking Powder 0 oz
  • Nuts to taste
  • Candied fruits to taste
  • Raisins to taste
  • Salt a pinch
  • Egg white 1 piece

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Beat 3 eggs with 1 cup of sugar, then add melted butter, making sure to let it cool first. Mix everything together and add a pinch of salt.

Step 2

Add the cottage cheese to the mixture. You can strain the cottage cheese through a sieve beforehand to make the dough smoother.

Step 3

Next, gradually add the flour mixed with baking powder, sifting it through a sieve beforehand if desired.

Step 4

The dough should not be too sticky. You can add raisins, candied fruits, or nuts.

Step 5

Place in any baking dish and put it in the oven preheated to 355°F. Depending on the shape of the dish, the batter may bake for anywhere from 10 minutes to 1 hour. You can check for doneness using a toothpick.

Step 6

Drizzle the resulting cottage cheese cakes with icing (egg white, well beaten with sugar) and sprinkle with confetti.
