
Cottage Cheese Donuts with Vanilla

Description
Delicious both warm and cold.
Ingredients
- Cottage cheese 20 oz
- Chocolate eggs 5 pieces
- Sugar 1 tablespoon
- Salt 1½ teaspoons
- Vanillin a pinch
- Cocoa Powder 1 teaspoon
- Activated Baking Soda 1 teaspoon
- Wheat Flour 2 tablespoons
- Vegetable Oil to taste
- Powdered Sugar to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Combine cottage cheese (preferably low-fat), eggs, salt, and flour, mix well, and add baking soda and vanillin.
Step 2
Stir everything until a thick mass is formed.
Step 3
Roll into a sausage shape, cut into pieces, and shape into balls (about the size of a walnut — they will be approximately the size of a tangerine when cooked).
Step 4
Fill a small pot (or saucepan) halfway with vegetable oil and heat until boiling, cook the donuts for 1 minute (they are ready when they float to the top).
Step 5
Then sprinkle with powdered sugar.
