Cottage Cheese Chocolate Cake with Almonds
Ingredients
- Semi-soft cream cheese 15 oz
- Granulated sugar 1½ cups
- Farm fresh eggs 3 pieces
- Clarified Butter 5 oz
- Vanillin a pinch
- Vegetable Oil 3 tablespoons
- Wheat Flour 1½ cups
- Chopped almonds 5 oz
- Cocoa Powder 4 tablespoons
- Liquid dark chocolate 5 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Add eggs and sugar to the cottage cheese and beat thoroughly.
Step 2
Add melted butter, vanillin, and baking powder. Mix well.
Step 3
Add vegetable oil and cocoa. Mix again thoroughly.
Step 4
Sift the flour and mix everything well. The dough should be thick.
Step 5
Add almonds and chopped chocolate bar.
Step 6
Grease the baking pan with oil and dust with flour. Pour in the batter.
Step 7
Place in a preheated oven at 390°F for 35–40 minutes. Check readiness with a matchstick or toothpick.
Step 8
Let the cake cool in the pan. Then transfer to a plate. Cut only when completely cooled.
Step 9
You can cover with icing or sprinkle with powdered sugar.
