Cottage Cheese Casserole with Plums
Ingredients
- Chicken Egg 1 piece
- Low-fat lactose-free milk 5 oz
- Sugar 4 tablespoons
- Semolina 3 tablespoons
- Plums 10 pieces
- Activated Baking Soda ½ teaspoon
- Vanilla salt a pinch
- Yogurt powder 5 fl oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Pass the cottage cheese through a sieve. Beat the egg with 2 tablespoons of sugar. Mix with the cottage cheese, add semolina, vanilla, and baking soda. The batter should be thick like sour cream. Pour into a baking dish. Bake for 25 minutes. Cool and cut into squares.
Step 2
Wash the plums, cut them in half, and remove the pits. In a small pot or skillet, add 2 tablespoons of sugar and half of the plums, sauté over medium heat for about 10 minutes. The plums should soften slightly, and the caramel should thicken a bit. Remove the plums and let them cool. Puree the remaining half of the plums with a blender and add to the remaining caramel, bring to a boil, remove from heat, and let cool.
Step 3
On plates, place 2–3 tablespoons of yogurt, pour the plum sauce on top, and swirl with a toothpick. Garnish the casserole with the caramelized plums. You can add a scoop of ice cream and a mint leaf.
