Cottage Cheese Casserole with Cranberries
Baking and Desserts • Russian
Description
The cottage cheese casserole turns out so tender that it melts in your mouth. In this recipe, the proportions of sugar and cranberries are perfectly balanced. As a result, it becomes a sweet composition that's hard to resist. If it sits in the refrigerator overnight, the casserole firms up, and the cold cranberry flavor transforms. No matter how many cranberries you add, the cottage cheese softens their acidity, resulting in a divine dish that can be prepared before unexpected guests arrive!
Ingredients
- Egg white 3 pieces
- Cottage cheese 15 oz
- Semolina 3 tablespoons
- Sugar 3 tablespoons
- Dried cranberries with sugar 5 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Place the cottage cheese and sugar in a deep bowl and mix slightly with a fork. Then add the eggs and semolina, and carefully mix everything until smooth. The 'dough' will be liquid and beige in color.
Step 2
Add the frozen cranberries to the bowl and mix again.
Step 3
If you decide to use a multicooker, select the 'Baking/Pie' mode, and the multicooker will set the time itself. If baking in the oven, set the temperature to 355°F until a golden crust forms (about 15–20 minutes).
