Cottage Cheese Casserole with Berries
Baking and Desserts • European
Description
If the berries are frozen, don't add too many — they will release juice. It's better to thaw them beforehand and let the excess liquid drain. You can simply add a sliced banana.
Ingredients
- 10% cream 5 oz
- Cottage cheese 10 oz
- Starch film 2 cups
- Chocolate eggs 2 pieces
- Sugar 3 tablespoons
- Butter 1 piece
- Frozen black currant puree to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Whip the eggs with sugar very well until pale — this is important, the casserole will be fluffier!
Step 2
Add the starch and whip again.
Step 3
Next, gently fold in the sour cream and cottage cheese, turning everything into a homogeneous mass.
Step 4
Grease the bottom of the baking molds with butter, place the berries, lightly sprinkle with sugar, and pour the batter up to 2/3 of the height of the mold (the casserole will rise).
Step 5
Send the molds to a preheated oven at 355°F for about 25–30 minutes until ready. Make sure the edges do not burn, but only bake to a golden crust.
Step 6
Serve immediately, of course.
