Ingredients
- Canned Peaches 6 pieces
- Dry White Wine 5 fl oz
- Lemon ½ piece
- Honey 2 tablespoons
- Sugar 0 oz
- Chocolate eggs 2 pieces
- Cottage cheese 15 oz
- Semolina 0 oz
- Raisins 0 oz
- Ground Almonds 0 oz
- Butter 0 oz
- Powdered Sugar 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Mix the halves of canned peaches with white wine, honey, grated lemon zest, and lemon juice. Place everything in a large deep dish and simmer covered in the microwave for about 3 minutes. Then slice 1 peach into wedges.
Step 2
Take the eggs and separate the yolks from the whites. Whisk the yolks with sugar until creamy.
Step 3
Combine the cottage cheese, the liquid left from the stewed peaches, semolina, raisins, almonds, and yolks.
Step 4
Add the whipped egg whites to the mixture. Spread the mixture over the peach halves.
Step 5
Place the peach wedges on top of the "cake", sprinkle with a mixture of powdered sugar and grated almonds, and add pieces of butter.
Step 6
Bake in the oven at 355°F for about 18 minutes.
