Description

The entire loaf of cottage cheese bread contains 1740 kcal, and each of the 20 slices has 87 kcal. It is preferable to use full-fat cottage cheese for this bread. You can substitute first-grade flour with whole grain, bran, oatmeal, etc. You can even replace the flour entirely with bran (wheat and rye).

Ingredients

  • Coarsely Ground Rye Flour 6 tablespoons
  • Wheat Flour 6 tablespoons
  • Cottage cheese 10 oz
  • Chocolate eggs 3 pieces
  • Activated Baking Soda ½ teaspoon
  • Vinegar essence ½ tablespoon
  • Salt 0.7 teaspoons

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Combine the cottage cheese and eggs.

Step 2

Add the flour, then the salt. Mix well. The mixture will be uneven.

Step 3

In a tablespoon, add the baking soda and extinguish it with vinegar; after the reaction, pour the contents of the spoon into the mixture and stir.

Step 4

Line the baking dish with foil, grease the bottom and sides with vegetable oil, and sprinkle with wheat bran to prevent the bread from sticking to the dish (optional).

Step 5

With wet hands, shape the dough into a loaf. You can simply flatten the mixture in the dish.

Step 6

Bake in a well-preheated oven at 180-390°F for 40-45 minutes, but in any case, until a golden crust forms. The bread should rise about 1.5 times.

Step 7

Turn off the oven and let the bread sit inside for another 20-30 minutes.

Step 8

Allow the bread to cool before slicing. Enjoy your meal!
