Ingredients
- Cottage cheese 10 oz
- Chicken Egg 1 piece
- Sugar 6 tablespoons
- Wheat Flour 1½ cups
- Baking Soda 1½ teaspoons
- Powdered Sugar to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Beat the egg with sugar. Mix in the cottage cheese and baking soda.
Step 2
Add the flour and knead the dough. Let the dough rest for 15 minutes.
Step 3
Roll out several logs, cut them into pieces, and form balls. The balls should be small, as they will increase in size while frying.
Step 4
Drop the balls into a pot of hot vegetable oil. Fry on low heat until golden brown.
Step 5
Place the cooked balls in a colander to drain excess oil.
Step 6
Transfer to a dish and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
