
Cottage Cheese Balls

Description
You can add vanilla sugar to the dough to taste.
Ingredients
- Sugar 5 oz
- Farm fresh eggs 2 pieces
- Semi-soft cream cheese 10 oz
- Wheat Flour 15 oz
- Activated Baking Soda 1 teaspoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Beat the eggs with sugar and add baking soda (do not extinguish with vinegar).
Step 2
Then add the cottage cheese and beat thoroughly.
Step 3
Gradually add the flour (300 g). The dough should be very soft.
Step 4
Place the remaining flour on the table and use it for rolling out the dough. For convenience, it is better to divide the dough into two parts.
Step 5
Roll out the dough to a thickness of no more than 1 cm. Use a glass to cut out circles, and a small shot glass to cut another circle inside the large one. The large circle will yield seamless bagels and small circles.
Step 6
Fry everything in hot oil in a deep fryer or skillet. During frying, the balls will increase in volume, taking on a round shape.
Step 7
Place the finished balls on paper towels to absorb excess oil.
Step 8
Optionally, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
