
Cottage Cheese and Strawberry Pie

Description
First, taste your strawberries; if they are a bit sour, you should add more sugar.
Ingredients
- Sugar 5 oz
- Chicken Egg 1 piece
- Butter 5 oz
- Mayonnaise 5 oz
- Strawberry 0 lbs
- Cottage cheese 5 oz
- Cream 10 fl oz
- Vanillin ½ teaspoon
- Baking Powder 1 teaspoon
- Wheat Flour 15 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
First, prepare the dough. In a bowl, mix the butter, egg, half a cup of sugar, and mayonnaise. Add the flour and baking powder. Knead the dough well.
Step 2
Divide the dough into two parts (one part should be smaller than the other; we will use it for decorating the pie). Roll both parts into balls and place them in the freezer for 20–25 minutes.
Step 3
Meanwhile, prepare the filling for our pie. You can make it in a blender or with a mixer. I used a blender. In the bowl, I placed half a kilogram of well-washed strawberries, 200 g of cottage cheese, cream, vanillin, and the remaining sugar. Blend everything until it reaches a yogurt-like consistency.
Step 4
Take the dough out of the freezer and press the larger piece of dough into the pie dish, spreading it out. On top, spread the cottage cheese-strawberry yogurt, and then add the remaining strawberries on top. You can cut the strawberries into pieces or place them whole.
Step 5
You can use the remaining dough to decorate the pie in any way you like.
Step 6
Bake the pie at 355°F for about 60–70 minutes. Keep an eye on it; it may cook faster in your oven.
Step 7
Once the pie is ready, let it cool and refrigerate it overnight.
