Cottage Cheese and Apple Pastries with Crumble
Ingredients
- Sugar ½ cup
- Wheat Flour 2 cups
- Butter 5 oz
- Baking Powder 1 teaspoon
- Ricotta cheese 10 oz
- Sour Cream 5 oz
- Eggs 2 pieces
- Apple 2 pieces
- Vanilla extract to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Sift the flour with the baking powder and mix it with the sugar.
Step 2
Cut the butter into small pieces, add it to the flour, and rub it with your fingers until it resembles crumbs.
Step 3
Pass the ricotta through a sieve, add the sour cream, sugar, vanilla, and eggs, and mix well.
Step 4
Cut the apples into quarters, peel and core them, then grate them on a coarse grater. Mix with the ricotta.
Step 5
Line a 28 cm springform pan with parchment paper and grease the sides with butter.
Step 6
Spread 2/3 of the crumble mixture on the bottom, top it with the apple mixture, smooth it out, and sprinkle with the remaining crumble.
Step 7
Bake for 40 minutes at 200 °C.
Step 8
Allow to cool completely before slicing.
