Cottage cheese and apple pancakes with cinnamon
Ingredients
- Chicken Egg 4 pieces
- Semi-soft cream cheese 5 oz
- Apple 4 pieces
- Wheat Flour ¾ glasses
- Honey 1 tablespoon
- Chopped almonds 1 tablespoon
- Ground Cinnamon ½ spoons
- Meyer Lemon Juice 1 tablespoon
- Salt a pinch
- Vegetable Oil to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Peel the apples and grate them on a coarse grater (you should have 1 cup). Transfer to a bowl.
Step 2
Add cottage cheese, flour, honey, almonds, lemon juice, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt to the apples.
Step 3
Separate the egg yolks from the egg whites. Add the yolks to the batter. Mix well.
Step 4
In a separate bowl, whip the egg whites until stiff peaks form, then gently fold them into the batter.
Step 5
Heat a skillet over medium heat until it's well warmed. Add a little vegetable oil.
Step 6
Place pancakes of your desired size onto a preheated skillet and cook until fully done and golden brown on both sides.
