Ingredients
- Wheat Flour 5 oz
- Coarse Cornmeal 5 oz
- Butter 5 oz
- Sugar 5 oz
- Salt a pinch
- Whole egg 2 pieces
- Chopped almonds 5 oz
- Almond 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Chop the cold butter into cubes, add the almond paste and rub it with the flour, then add salt.
Step 2
Crush 150 grams of almonds, leaving the remaining 30 for decoration.
Step 3
Add sugar and ground almonds.
Step 4
Add the yolks last.
Step 5
Work quickly with the dough to maintain its crumbly texture.
Step 6
Grease a baking sheet with butter and place the dough in pieces, pressing slightly to bind it into one layer. The height of the pie should be 2 cm.
Step 7
Decorate with almonds, pressing the nuts into the dough.
Step 8
Bake for 20 minutes at 340°F. Then cover with foil and keep in the oven for another 20 minutes at 340°F.
