Cornelian Cherry Jam
Ingredients
- Sugar 1½ kg
- Cornelian Cherry 0 lbs
- Water 10 fl oz

Step 1
Prepare all the ingredients. Sterilize the jars for the jam over steam for 15 minutes.
Step 2
Sort the cornelian cherries and remove any stems.
Step 3
Rinse it thoroughly and dry it off.
Step 4
Blanch the dogwood in boiling water for 1 minute.
Step 5
In a clean pot, add the sugar, pour in water, turn on the heat, and bring to a boil.
Step 6
Add the cornelian cherries to the syrup.
Step 7
Boil for 7 minutes, skimming off the foam. Then let the jam cool.
Step 8
Bring to a boil again, stirring the contents of the pot continuously. Allow to cool again.
Step 9
For the last time, bring the jam to a boil and pour it into sterilized jars.
Step 10
Serve the cornelian cherry jam with tea.
