Corn Puff Sausage with Caramels

Ingredients

  • Sweet Corn Sticks 5 oz
  • Soft Toffee 15 oz
  • Butter 5 oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Unwrap the caramels.

Step 2

Cut each corn puff into 2–3 pieces.

Step 3

Place a bowl over low heat and melt the butter in it.

Step 4

Add the caramels. Don't worry if the butter and candies float separately: once the caramels melt, the mixture will become homogeneous.

Step 5

Stir the caramel occasionally. The candies should completely melt.

Step 6

Without turning off the heat or removing the bowl, add the corn puffs in batches (pre-cut the puffs into 2–3 pieces). Mix well.

Step 7

Divide the dessert into two parts and place into two plastic bags.

Step 8

Shape the dessert into a sausage form by squeezing the bags in your hands.

Step 9

Refrigerate for two to three hours to cool.

Step 10

Once set, cut the dessert into pieces.
